Power of the Purse
Our team organizes Power of the Purse evnets and donates purses and other workplace articles of clothing and products in collaboration Dress for Success.
This organization empowers women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire and the development tools to help women thrive in work and in life.
The purpose of our organization is to provide women with the supportive services they need to make life transitions that result in achieving self-sufficiency and socioeconomic advancement.
Horizon House
Our team members volunteer at Horizon House. An organization which advocates and provides comprehensive, community-based services for individuals with disabilities and their families. The organization creates opportunities for those served to manage their lives through environments that emphasize individual strength and choice.
Food Pantry
Our team organizes office food drives, contributing to the success of the local food bank and to our community in need.
Gleaners Food Bank
Our team united with other volunteers at Gleaners strives to provide equitable access to nutritious food for those facing hunger and strive to overcome the conditions causing food insecurity.
Black Finacial Empwerment
Our team organizes and hosts a Black Finacial Empwerment event which encourages and empowers individuals through education, and hands-on initiatives. The event serves to contribute to positive change.
Equitable Excellence Scholarship
Equitable Excellence Scholarship® is the flagship program of Equitable Foundation, the company’s charitable-giving arm. The enhanced scholarship program includes renewable scholarships and engagement to create pathways to opportunities for aspiring college students.
As the largest 403(b) provider for educators across the country, we realize it’s important to our mission that we help support the educators that are empowering today’s students. To make an even bigger impact directly to educators, we ask each recipient to identify a teacher who made a significant difference in his or her academic journey. To express our gratitude, Equitable will provide a $500 gift card to each identified educator to ensure their classrooms and students are set up for success.
Equitable Foundation
Through philanthropy, volunteerism and partnerships, we invest in the places where we live and work. Equitable Foundation gives our employees and financial professionals an opportunity to commit their time and effort to organizations they believe in, as well as award grants to organizations where volunteer events take place.
